Titan Robotics Awarded 2019 “Company of the Year” by Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC

Colorado Springs, CO – Titan Robotics is honored to be named the 2019 Company of the Year at the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC 2019 Annual Gala, held Saturday, November 9, 2019.

As one of the fastest growing companies in the Colorado Springs area, Titan Robotics was recognized for its significant impact on the advanced manufacturing industry, its rapid growth and expansion, and engagement in the local business community.

“We are honored to be the 2019 Company of the Year! This kind of recognition is possible because of the amazing team we have at Titan, our outstanding customers and a business community that supports us and believes in us,” said Titan Robotics CMO, Maddie Guillory.

Every year the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development Center (EDC) recognizes and celebrates the remarkable achievements of companies and entrepreneurs in Colorado Springs.  Company of the Year is awarded to a business that has made a significant impact on its industry, performed extraordinary work on a project or continuing program, and is a leader in employee satisfaction and community engagement.

2019 Company of the Year Award: Titan Robotics

As Titan Robotics expands into its new 21,400 square foot facility in Colorado Springs this month, the company is growing its highly skilled team and creating new jobs in the area. This expansion will also enable Titan to increase its capacity to manufacture its state-of-the-art large format 3D printers and grow its 3D printing service bureau capabilities.

As part of its growth plan, Titan is also making debut in the European market this year by attending Formnext for the first time. Formnext is the top European 3D Printing trade show, taking place in Frankfurt, Germany, November 19-23, 2019. Titan Robotics is excited to be an exhibitor representing American-made products as part of the USA Pavilion at Formnext.

Titan Robotics Discusses Importance of Additive Manufacturing with U.S. Congressman Doug Lamborn

Titan Robotics, Ltd. welcomed U.S. Congressman Doug Lamborn last week to discuss several topics, including the importance of Additive Manufacturing technology especially as it relates to advances with our military.

Rep. Lamborn serves on the Majority of the House Committee on Armed Services, which covers the breadth of the operations of the Department of Defense as well as the national security functions of the Department of Energy and other related areas. Source: Armed Services Committee Website

Rep. Lamborn represents Colorado’s Fifth District, based right here in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Colorado’s 5th District is one of our nation’s most military-intensive congressional districts, with five military installations and home to more than 100,000 veterans. Rep. Lamborn also serves on the Strategic Forces and Emerging Threat and Capabilities Subcommittees. In these roles, he participates in the oversight of our nation’s strategic weapons, ballistic missile defense and space programs.

During the visit, Titan Robotics demonstrated several cutting edge Additive Manufacturing technologies. A highlight of the demonstration was Titan’s advancements in unique materials that can be 3D printed using the Atlas 3D printer with direct pellet fed extrusion. Titan team members and Rep. Lamborn discussed how this technology has great potential to change manufacturing and how Titan’s Pellet Extrusion is already being used in several DoD and aerospace applications.

Rep. Lamborn also learned about how Titan is growing the local economy in Colorado Springs. In 2018 alone, Titan has hired eight new full-time employees and three part-time employees. Titan also helps other local small businesses grow by working with several Colorado Springs suppliers in the manufacturing sector. Rep. Lamborn was also impressed to learn how Titan Robotics was named a Top 50 Colorado Company to Watch in 2018.

The visit was a chance to highlight Titan’s role in advanced manufacturing and innovative technology taking place right here in Colorado Springs!
